performance connu pour sa r\u00e9sistance, sa rigidit\u00e9 et sa stabilit\u00e9 dimensionnelle. Il offre une excellente r\u00e9sistance aux produits chimiques, \u00e0 la chaleur et aux chocs. Le PBT peut \u00eatre facilement moul\u00e9 par injection, extrud\u00e9 et thermoform\u00e9, et il est non toxique et difficilement inflammable. Il s\u2019agit en fait d\u2019une version modifi\u00e9e du PET (poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne t\u00e9r\u00e9phtalate) connue pour ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et thermiques sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles des autres plastiques.<\/p>\n<p>Le PBT a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 dans les ann\u00e9es 1930, mais ce n&rsquo;est que dans les ann\u00e9es 1950 qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 commercialis\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois. Il a d&rsquo;abord \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;industrie automobile, et a depuis \u00e9t\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 par un large \u00e9ventail d&rsquo;industries telles que
